Upon receiving a nomination through the BC PNP Tech, the next step is applying for permanent residency. The nomination significantly increases the chances of receiving an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for permanent residence under the Express Entry system, if applicable, due to the additional points awarded for a provincial nomination. Alternatively, nominees can apply through the regular process outside of Express Entry but with the advantage of the nomination supporting their application for permanent residency.
BC PNP Tech represents a strategic initiative by the province of British Columbia to fulfill the demand for high-skilled tech professionals and support the growth of its technology sector. It offers a viable pathway for tech workers seeking permanent residence in Canada, leveraging their skills to contribute to BC’s economic development.
