Parisa Pourhashemi is an articled student under the supervision of Heena Han and intends to work as a lawyer at Pax Law after being called to the bar. She holds a Master of Laws (LLM) in Common Law from the University of British Columbia.
Before relocating to Canada, she studied law in Iran and held several legal positions, including serving as Head of the Peace & Humanitarian Law Group at the UNESCO Chair for Human Rights, Peace & Democracy.
She has a strong foundation in legal research and has contributed to numerous projects as an author, editor, and project coordinator, with a focus on human rights and criminal law.
Fluent in English and Persian, she enjoys reading novels and plays and staying active at the gym with her partner.
