Parisa Pourhashemi

Parisa is a paralegal at Pax Law Corporation, where she supports the immigration department in assisting clients with a wide range of immigration matters. She holds a Master of Laws (LLM) in Common Law from the University of British Columbia and has completed the National Committee on Accreditation (NCA) requirements in Canada.

Before relocating to Canada, Parisa studied and practiced law in Iran, where she held several legal positions, including serving as Head of the Peace & Humanitarian Law Department at the UNESCO Chair for Human Rights, Peace & Democracy.

She has a strong foundation in legal research and has contributed to numerous projects as an author, editor, and project coordinator, with a focus on human rights and criminal law.

Parisa is fluent in English and Persian. In her free time, she enjoys reading novels and plays, and staying active at the gym.
