Background & Experience
Setareh Hajmohammadjafar is a Licensed Practitioner of Foreign Law (PFL) with the Law Society of British Columbia, authorized to provide legal services relating to the laws of Iran in British Columbia. With more than a decade of legal practice in Iran, she brings extensive experience in civil and commercial litigation, contract law, family law, and dispute resolution.
Before joining Pax Law Corporation, Setareh founded and directed the Setareh Tabnak Justice Legal and Arbitration Institute in Tehran, where she led a team providing litigation support, arbitration, mediation, and legal consultation in complex cases. Over the years, she has represented clients in over 500 court cases across civil, criminal, family, and commercial matters, and successfully handled over 300 contract negotiations and disputes.
Setareh also served as a Senior Attorney and Legal Advisor with the Iran Central Bar Association, where she developed litigation strategies, drafted legal opinions, and managed complex client advisory work. Her legal background is complemented by years of teaching experience as a Legal Instructor and Consultant, where she trained over 400 law students in criminal law, procedural law, and advanced legal writing.
