A Business Purchase Agreement, Share Purchase Agreement, Asset Purchase Agreement, or Sale of Business Agreement is utilized when an individual or corporation intends to purchase the assets or shares of a company or a business. Shares represent and individual\u2019s interest in a corporation. A corporation is a legal entity that is separate from any of the people that own shares in it. By selling a number of shares of a corporation, a shareholder can transfer their ownership interest in that corporation to another person. Shares can have various rights in a corporation, such as:
\u2022<\/span>the right to share in the profits of the corporation, also known as the right to receive dividends;
